- Well-managed workload with 15-minute appointments, 25 patient appointments and limited additional home visiting.
- PCN pharmacist support for discharge letters, clinic letters, medication reviews etc.
- Actively involved in innovative, multidisciplinary models of care through our Primary Care Network (PCN), Community Integrated Teams and Care Home Ward Rounds.
- One of our partners is the Clinical Director of our PCN, and one partner is the LMC Chair, ensuring strong local collaboration/leadership.

- Provide consultations during clinics, dealing with a wide range of health needs
- Participate in duty doctor and telephone triage systems
- Provide appropriate clinical care, management, and referrals
- Use EMIS Web for all patient records and administration
- Complete relevant medical documentation, including reports, referrals, prescriptions
- Collaborate effectively with the nursing team, admin team, and community staff
- Engage in regular practice meetings, clinical governance, and educational activities
- Participate in monthly protected CPD afternoons and utilise allocated PDP time

- GMC registration and inclusion on GP Register

Shiney Row is a large former mining village with a stable, supportive community, experiencing continued growth through new housing developments.
We serve a growing list size of >7,400 patients and pride ourselves on being friendly, collaborative, and innovative.
Our GPs have specialist interests including medical education, musculoskeletal medicine, respiratory medicine, ENT, women's health and diabetes. We have a strong focus on city-wide leadership as the LMC chair and Coalfields PCN Clinical Director are both partners in the practice.
