- A mix of telephone, face to face and home visit appointments

- Be within 2 years of completing your CCT at the time of appointment
- Not have held a substantive salaried GP role in general practice previously
- Be fully registered with the GMC and on the GP Specialty Register
- Be on the NHS Performers List
- Have the right to work in the UK (please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role)
- 15 minute appointments maximum of 27 per day
- NHS Pension with 20.6% Employer Contribution
- 30 days (6 weeks / 240 hours) of annual leave plus Bank Holidays
- Indemnity cover
- Extra days leave for work anniversary each year
- Enhanced Maternity, Maternity Support (Paternity), Adoption pay
- Family friendly employment policies
- Special and Significant Event Leave
- 10% of weekly hours set aside for continuing professional development time
- 5 days study leave per annum (pro rata for part time)

Job summary
Newly Qualified GP (ARRS role) at The Light Surgery OneMedical Group are actively looking for newly qualified General Practitioners to join our team at The Light Surgery under the ARRS scheme. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified GP to begin their career in a highly supportive, multi-disciplinary environment and deliver high-quality care to our community.
Main duties of the job
As the job holder will be employed under the ARRS scheme, applicants must be within 2 years of completing their CCT at the time of appointment, and must not have had substantive employment within a GP practice before.
The GP will be working with a great local team and will have the support of the wider NHS Services Leadership team and our Support Centre teams as well.
This is a fixed-term contract until the end of March 2026. The role will be part of the PCN additional roles reimbursement scheme (ARRS) and could have the potential to be extended beyond March depending on NHS funding arrangements and guidance. We have 11 sessions available
