Work plan: 12 x 15-minute routine appointments per session.
Locally provided Home Visiting service. Less than 1 visit per week typically.
6 weeks annual leave/1 week study leave pro rata

Our surgery hours are 08.30 18.30.
In-house educational program. Alternating weekly clinical and GP meetings.
No out of hours or weekend commitments.
Daily debrief over coffee for all clinicians.
We are a training and research practice.
Full multidisciplinary team (Nursing team, Pharmacists, AHPs, Physios, MHP).

Main duties of the job
The Person:
We are looking to appoint 2-3 GPs (working a minimum of 5 sessions) who are motivated, independent, and interested in providing high quality clinical services to a varied and deprived population. The successful applicant will be expected to work flexibly across the different sites and subject to agreement this may include some weekend hours in their pattern of work.
The Practice has a high-achieving QOF track record and is closely involved in local GP-led commissioning, with mostly paperless administration; our main practice system is EMIS Web, and our GPs also use Adastra, Front Desk, and Docman regularly.

This would include covering care homes/private school ward rounds, supervising GP registrars/F2s and supervising/advising our wide and varied mix of allied health professionals. The right person will have experience in managing their own patient list and assisting with meeting QOF targets.
