      Job summary

      As a salaried GP, you will provide high-quality medical care to our patients, ensuring that each consultation is thorough and effective. You will work within a supportive environment, supported

      by a friendly team of clinicians, administrative staff, and management. This role involves working

      to ensure excellent patient care and service, contributing to the development and improvement

      of practice systems and participating in training and development activities.

      v £10,000 per session per annum

      v EMIS Clinical system

      v Appointments via Econsult and Face to Face appointments

      v 6 weeks annual leave (including study leave)

      v No OOH, extended hours or weekends

      v BMA/ GMC/indemnity covered by the practice.

      Main duties of the job

      Provide general medical services to registered patients, ensuring a high standard of care and professionalism. Consult with patients regarding their health concerns, providing appropriate medical advice, diagnostics, and treatment. Prescribe medication as necessary and ensure the safe management

      of prescribing within the practice. Contribute to the development of practice policies, guidelines,

      and quality improvement initiatives. Participate in regular multi-disciplinary team meetings to

      discuss patient care and practice matters. Conduct home visits when necessary and in line with practice protocols. Maintain accurate and

      up-to-date patient records. We already use EMIS clinical system and have implemented

      Electronic Prescribing. Support practice staff and participate in the development of clinical skills

      and knowledge. Participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and other educational activities as

      required by the GMC and NHS Wales. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical guidelines, NHS Wales policies, and other relevant developments.

      Attend and contribute to practice meetings, including clinical governance, team briefings, and

      other meetings. Promote and adhere to NHS Wales values, ensuring that patient care remains

      central to all activities.
