      Main duties of the job

      5 sessions a week - days to be agreed

      12-13 patients per session, blocked time for home visits, blocked time for daily clinical meeting

      Cherry Hinton is a traditional Cambridge practice supporting face-to-face high-quality consulting, that is led by a GP Federation; Cambs GP Network, CGPN, so you can focus on patients.

That means feeling valued and protected, which is why all of our GPs work to the BMA salaried model contract and detailed job plan, which means; 15minute appointments; 80% of clinical correspondence, all private work outsourced; in-house pharmacy teams for the med reviews; adopter of Cambs LMC/BMA guidance to protect you from workload dumps.

      We have an excellent team of GPs, prescribing ANP, Pharmacy team, PCN Physio, SPLW/Care-coordinator and full in-house management team. Together we enjoy social events, group training events and daily protected clinical meetings.

      CGPN is a Federation of Practices across Cambridge with a social enterprise ethos, wholly owned by our local member practices. CGPN adopted Cherry Hinton Medical Practice 2years ago, since the practice has seen massive improvements in QOF achievement (95+%), turnaround in FFT/PPG feedback (now excellent!) protected workloads for clinicians (focus on supporting clinicians to deliver holistic longitudinal care), a revitalised non-clinical and management team.
