Job summary
4-6 session salaried GP working across 2 sites - Albion Place and Cantley
The Burns Practice is a traditional family practice. We always put our patients interests first and take great pride in the level of care that we offer our patients.
Our team of GPs and nurses are of the highest standard; we aim to work with patients and to deal with problems by taking their wishes and values into consideration.
We are involved in training medical students, trainee nurses and trainee GPs and enjoy the responsibility of helping to educate those who will care for patients in the future.

Main duties of the job
4-6 sessions per week
Face to face and telephone appointments
Untriaged GP clinics including minor illnesses

We have 7 partners, 4 salaried GPs who are supported by a dedicated management team, nursing team and admin support staff.
We are a hard working team who are proactive in our outlook towards the health of our patients.

To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract.
Furthermore, the post holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
