- Surgery consultations, telephone/video consultations and queries.
- Visiting patients at home, on call.
- Checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries
- All paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion.
- Designated share of workflow and pathology reports.
- Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation.
- Assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems
- Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
- Engaging with activities such as the QOF, LES/DES and other additional work essential for providing a full service for patients.

Job summary
Derby Road Practice are seeking an enthusiastic salaried GP with excellent interpersonal skills for 4 sessions per week however, this is negotiable for the right candidate. Flexibility is crucial to accommodate training, holidays and occasional sickness.
We have an established team with a strong focus on customer service and on developing and nurturing staff in order to deliver excellent standards of patient care. We would love to hear from candidates with healthcare experience. We are also keen to hear from those that can show flexibility and a range of transferable skills.
