      Job summary

      We are looking for a Salaried GPto join our friendly, innovative, and well-supported primary care team operating across two sites. Youll be working alongside a committed group of GPs, with low visiting requirements thanks to the Acute Visiting Serviceand a strong multi-disciplinary team. Our Fully paid administrative session has proved valuable to our GP's.

      Please note this is a post for a newly qualified GP under the ARRS scheme looking for their first substantive post.

      £11,403.60 per session + Fully Paid Admin Session | MDU Fees Paid | 6+1 Weeks Leave

      At least 4 Clinical Sessions per week.

      Main duties of the job

      • 12 patient contacts per session(mixture of telephone and face-to-face)
      • 15-minute face-to-face appointments
      • Fully paid administrative sessionon top of clinical sessions (pro rata based on a 6 Session role).
      • Minimal home visits (due to AVS)
      • Medical Defence (MDU) fees paid
      • Annual leave: 6 weeks + 1 week study leave

      Regular protected educational afternoons practice closes for training

      Strong emphasis on In-house trainingincluding for example joint injection courses to support clinical skills and clinician development.

      Teaching from secondary care specialistsand allied health professionals both during lunch time meetings and if interested we host evening medical talks.

      We're a vibrant teaching and training practicewith medical students from various Universities including Portsmouth as well as GP trainees.
