Job Description

- Provide high-quality primary care services to registered and temporary patients
- Conduct 28 consultations per day (face-to-face and telephone)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Prescribe in line with the practice formulary
- Support disease prevention and long-term condition management
- Offer leadership and clinical input to the wider team
- Mentor or support junior staff, Physicians Associates and medical students from Swansea University.
- Benefit from streamlined workflow admin responsible only for your own test results and letters
- Minimal medication queries handled by the pharmacy team
- Home visits required, when Advanced Paramedic Practitioner is unavailable.
- On-call sessions pro-rata
- Attend Clinical meetings
- Promote QI projects
- Partners: 2 GPs, 1 ANP Partner, 1 GP Retainer
- Clinical Staff: 3 Salaried GPs, Minor Ailments Nurse, 2 Practice Nurses, HCSW
- Pharmacy Team: Pharmacy Technicians, Prescribing Clerk, Cluster Pharmacist and Cluster Pharmacy Technicians
- Practice Manager, Clinical Admin Manager and 2 Office Managers
- Reception and Administrative Team: Experienced and supportive

- Serving a patient population of 9,921
- Part of the Neath Cluster (one of eight practices)
- EMIS Web Clinical system
- In-house Spirometry, CRP Machine, Doppler investigations

Located in the heart of Neath Town Centre, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment with an established patient list of 9,921.
