Oversee Partner Marketing Portal, including monitoring, reviewing, responding and sharing submissions and marketing updates with the appropriate agency or internal staff contacts.
Manage updates to the OEDIT Industry Site and Partner Marketing Portal as needed, including updating the calendar with key events/dates, adding toolkits, sharing co-op information and more.
Assist with launch of co-op programs, including drafting/updating information for industry sites, marketing portal, Tourism Tuesday and DMO emails. Track applications and more as needed.
Assist with management, organization and distribution of photo/video and b-roll assets, ensuring visual content is readily accessible to CTO/OEDIT teams, agencies and external partners. This includes uploading, tagging and detailing licensing information and fielding asset requests.
Provide assistance with any other marketing duties as requested including campaign creative asset approval or routing, writing and/or editing marketing content, status management, event coordination, agency reviews and more.
Manage/edit a variety of communications as requested including CTO /OEDIT newsletters, social media posts, articles and more.
Assist International and Communications team with familiarization (FAM) tours for domestic and international media. This includes managing media hosting tracker, itinerary, development/formatting, event calendar oversight and program history tracking.
Provide support for international trade shows, including Go West Summit and IPW, including preparing materials such as trade show booklets and shipping.
Coordinate logistics for all domestic/international Governor's Conference sessions, including distributing materials to speakers, coordinating speaker travel/registration and on-site logistics.
Coordinate contract management, including annual contracts updates, financial tracking, vendor management, invoicing, MOU and RFP support.
Manage bi-monthly Tourism Marketing Committee and International Promotion Committee meetings: including calendar invites, agenda, presentation materials, and meeting minutes.
Assist Deputy Directors with travel arrangements, calendar management and expense reports.
Draft international dashboard, PR/marketing board reports for board meetings.
Maintain all contact lists including Key Industry Contacts, DMO Marketing Contacts and the International Database.
Manage internal google drive, ensure research, reports, notes and marketing materials are archived.
Order and/or track promotional item inventory, ship domestically and internationally for trade shows, sales missions, Familiarization Trips, etc.
Support Operations Coordinator as requested by Director or Deputy Director for events including but not limited to board meetings, team offsites, hiring and more.
Other marketing-related responsibilities as requested.

The vision of the Colorado Tourism Office (CTO) is to empower the tourism industry by inspiring the world to explore Colorado responsibly and respectfully. The work of the CTO supports three key strategic pillars – Economic Vitality, Destination Stewardship and Industry Leadership. The CTO promotes Colorado to travelers through domestic and international marketing, public relations, social media, the Official State Vacation Guide, colorado.com and Colorado Welcome Centers. The CTO collaborates with destination marketing organizations, local communities, industry associations, land managers, government agencies and private businesses to market Colorado to travelers, support the development of new travel opportunities and protect Colorado resources through destination stewardship. The FY24 budget is $20.3 million.POSITION
The CTO Sales & Marketing Coordinator works collaboratively to support the CTO’s multi-million-dollar brand, promoting Colorado as a premier travel destination. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Marketing, the Sales & Marketing Coordinator oversees the execution of sales and marketing materials, contracts, events/tours and other communications with the goal of attracting high-potential travelers to Colorado, ultimately driving revenue for the state. This position works closely with agency partners, industry partners and the Senior Fiscal/Operations Manager. Specific responsibilities include the following:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail; strong oral and written communications skills; problem-solving ability; and personal integrity, confidence, and diplomacy as well as flexibility. Strong proficiency in Google Apps and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel are essential.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree, with a degree in a tourism-related or marketing field and/or a minimum of three years of related experience in a similar role with increasing responsibilities.
Conditions of Employment
Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 Annually
This position is considered non-classified, which means the position is not part of the Colorado State Personnel System. Therefore, the individual appointed to this position is considered at-will, and is not covered by the State Personnel Rules or the State Classification System. However, this position does come with the same benefits (retirement, insurance, etc.) as every other State employee, and with the same opportunities, pride and passion that comes with working for the great State of Colorado. Even though employment is at-will, non-classified positions have protections against discrimination and retaliation in state and federal employment laws. “At-will” employment means that either the employee or the State may terminate the employment relationship at any time for any reason or no reason, with or without notice or cause, as long as no federal or state law is violated.
A wide salary range is posted for this position and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and state seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. While all offers are compliant with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, there is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
