As an Associate / Vice President in our Rates & FX Sales team you will be responsible for maintaining and developing key financial institution client relationships, including day-to-day execution of Foreign Exchange (FX), FX Options and Rates (flow and structured) products.

Job Responsibilities:

• You will be joining a growing team of Rates and FX focused salespeople in Tokyo.
• You will transact in these products across a broad range of clients (asset managers, insurance accounts, pension funds, banks, hedge funds, etc).
• You will work with our partners in trading in centers across major trading hubs (Tokyo, Singapore, London etc), and research to provide comprehensive client coverage, including fulfilling client requests for market updates, assisting with the execution of client orders and providing clients with market intelligence.
• You will be responsible for the trade execution process including pricing, negation, trade booking and post-trade life cycle management
• Developing and maintaining strong and lasting client relationships
• Help maximize revenue with existing clients whilst building relationships with prospective clients
• Partnering with internal stakeholders to communicate effectively and deliver the client agenda

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience both in FX & Rates products and a solid understanding of macroeconomics
• Clear, logical thinker with strong qualitative abilities
• Fluent and proficient in Japanese and English, both verbal and written.
• Creative problem solver with ability to perform well under pressure.
• Strong team player that is detail oriented with a highly disciplined approach to process and quality control
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in financial services

• Strong proficiency in Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
