Wage Range: $17.79 - $40.14 per hourGeneral Duties:
• Trouble Shoot, analyze and repair various types of circuits (POTS, Specials, Coin & DSL), premise equipment facilities (Residential & Business)
• Perform repair and preventative maintenance of cable using various types of test gear; perform routine maintenance of various plant elements
• Provide information to complete jobs, work orders and service orders, coordinate with assignments as needed; correct maps and complete records
• Interact in internal/external customers in a professional manner to complete job assignments and attain service objectives
• Support and actively participate in promotion and sale of company servicesQualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in telecommunications installation and maintenance
• Basic keyboard and software skills
• Must complete pole climbing certification, for which an individual cannot exceed 275 lbs.; fully clothed and with proper footwear
• Must complete company provided training and demonstrate ability to complete full installs
• Ability to work independently and desire to work ‘face-to-face’ with customer
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions and in isolated or confined spaces
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record; CDL preferred
• Must be available for flexible scheduling, holidays, after hours and call-outs
