Job Description
- Req#: R4397
- Control the Quota planning process across the company including sales, finance, product management.
- Design with VP operations and finance the compensation model each year for the company to achieve its growth targets.
- This role will analyze, advise, and direct the corporate planning and execution processes to support the growth ambitions of the company aligned with the organizational, partner, segmentation and headcount constraints and present these plans to Executive Leadership.
- Prepare the Corporate Quota Plan in conjunction with VP Operations, product management, finance, and the sales organization including License Term Business, SMS, and Services to meet company objectives.
- Recommend, produce, and gain Executive approval for a best-in-class compensation framework to incent the sales organization
- Prepare the Fiscal Quota Plan for all sales regions, overlays and corporate IBU’s.
- Work with finance to get the plans into Varicent.
- Manage sales enablement of the plan and issues resulting.
- Manage compensation and commission issues with ALL.
- Focal point for Company plan, attainment, reporting and dashboard requirements.
- Produce analysis of plan achievement
- Work with 13 regional operations and sales teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics or Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in a similar role or experience in operations or business planning in a similar environment
- Ownership of corporate quota planning process
- Direct experience with a business unit, or sales region developing operational models to support business planning, key strategic activities, and major business initiatives desirable
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Experience in handling and calculating quota’s and commissions.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Extreme attention to detail, ability to verify accuracy, quality, and applicability of all data
- Able to maintain the highest standards when it comes to handling highly sensitive, private, and confidential materials
- Enthusiastic and able to communicate at all levels in the business
- Software industry experience is a plus

The Director of Sales Compensation will report to the Vice President of Business and Sales Operations with significant exposure to Executive leadership. They will structure and coordinate the corporate quota plan into deliverable quotas and commission plans for sales, solution consulting and overlay functions.Your Impact
