What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain relationships targeted at strategic growth and development of opportunities
- Identify and business develop new opportunities with existing and new customers
- Maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM) with all leads and customer engagements
- Attend conferences, symposiums, trade shows, and industry meetings to market services
- Facilitate and coordinate quote/proposal/RFP production and delivery to clients
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA/BS in Science or a related field
- Minimum 2 to 6 years of experience in sales, client relationship management, and business development roles, preferably in technical/scientific services
- Strong scientific background with the ability to learn and understand technical content
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in creating and delivering presentations to clients
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in managing multiple streams of communication including email, phone conversations, and social media content engagement
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and engage in solutions quickly
- Proficient in using Sales Force as a CRM
- Experience in expense management and efficient spending of company resources
- Dynamic, motivated, and results-oriented thinker with a strong team-oriented approach
