What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the first point of contact for assigned Territory Managers and customers, providing administrative support and resolving inquiries
- Process customer orders through internal systems and promote customer engagement with US Foods.com
- Collaborate with Territory Managers to drive sales performance and maintain order guides
- Respond to customer and Territory Manager questions in a timely manner, escalating issues as necessary
- Leverage proprietary systems and tools to provide accurate information and insights
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least three (3) years of previous customer service experience required
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with solid problem resolution abilities
- Ability to influence and persuade customers effectively
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in food service distribution is preferred
- Familiarity with CRM tools, particularly Salesforce.com, is a plus
- Previous sales experience is beneficial but not required
