- Process and verify foodservice sales orders.
- Answer incoming sales calls and assist customers with inquiries or order pickups.
- Support accounts with collections, credit issues, and customer concerns.
- Communicate across departments (purchasing, distribution, customer service, A/R) to ensure smooth operations.
- Build strong relationships with chefs, purchasers, and culinary professionals.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products.
- Participate in specialty food tastings, training events, and food shows.
- Provide accurate reporting and data to help the sales team spot trends and improve performance
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to multitask.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required; Access/SQL a plus).
- Creative problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
- 2–3 years of sales, customer service, or foodservice industry experience preferred.
- Prior experience in inside sales, account management, or food distribution.
- Ability to analyze sales data and provide actionable insights.
- College degree preferred but not required.
- Passion for gourmet and specialty foods is a must!

This role combines sales support, customer service, and account management to deliver an exceptional experience to our customers while helping grow our specialty food business.
