      Overview

      At Amstan a division of Lixil Americas w e understand manufacturing and how to move it. As the logistics arm of Lixil Corporation, a global family of brands including American Standard, GROHE, INAX, Basco, Tostem, and more, we organize and manage our lanes and utilize the capacity of our key shipper-to-shipper relationships. In fact, in addition to managing all modes of Lixil’s North American outbound and inbound logistics, we also manage the logistics of a wide range of external partners, mainly in the manufacturing industry.


      Responsibilities

      This is a sales position where the incumbent will be responsible for the building of a portfolio of business by researching and seeking out prospective clients. The Sales Rep II is also responsible for acting as the liaison between the client and our customer service team and developing solid relationships with all parties by providing world-class customer service. Business is generated through inside and outside sales through industry referrals, prospecting, and business-to-business selling. You will be implementing solutions for prospective customers. The territory is Texas.

      Responsibilities:

      • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing customized logistics solutions.
      • Engage with prospects through various channels, such as cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and conferences, to create meaningful connections and promote our services
      • Develop and manage a sustainable book of business by prospecting, acquiring, and expanding Small, Mid, and Large Market clients
      • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients.
      • Track and report sales performance metrics, including pipeline development, revenue generation, and customer retention.
      • Collaborate with Customer and Carrier operation teams to ensure seamless execution of freight transportation services.
      • Facilitate bids and RFPs

      • Possess continuous/ongoing knowledge of market conditions, industry developments, and industry networking


      Qualifications

      A candidate with previous third-party logistics experience who excelled in a shipper-facing role. The Sales Rep position can expect to develop new prospects, land new business, and expand the amount of service offerings. This role will support the growth of Amstan Logistics, the 3rd-party logistics arm of Lixil Americas in the Texas region.

      Minimum Required

      High School Diploma or GED required

      • 4-8 years of a track record of success in sales, meeting quarterly and annual sales goals for the role
      • Strong knowledge of North American freight transportation modes, including Van, Flatbed, and less-than-truckload (LTL).
      • Strong understanding of the industry's competitive landscape, market trends, and customer needs
      • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to price business strategically and competitively


      Preferred

      Bachelor’s degree

      • 3PL sales within a split model operations

      Hiring Range

      The Hiring Salary Range for this position is $63,000.00 - $84,000.00 annually. Plus sales commission.

      (Salary offer to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
