Position Responsibilities
Job Summary: We are looking for a results-driven and customer-centric Expansion Sales Specialist to join our team. This role is focused on driving revenue growth through upselling (increasing usage or product tier) and cross-selling (introducing complementary products or services) to our existing customer base. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SaaS sales cycles, customer relationship management, and consultative selling.
Key Responsibilities:
· Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing customer portfolio
· Identify and pursue cross-sell and upsell opportunities based on customer usage patterns, pain points, and growth plans
· Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their evolving business needs
· Develop and execute tailored expansion strategies for customer segments
· Proactively suggest product enhancements or additional modules to improve customer ROI and satisfaction.
· Present product features and benefits clearly, focusing on ROI and customer impact
· Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly expansion revenue targets
· Track and manage pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
· Use data and customer feedback to drive insights and improve sales strategies
Requirements:
· 2–5 years of experience in SaaS sales, account management
· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
· Ability to make pitch track for multiple product lines
· Mapping products / modules to customer needs and identify Opportunities to improve customer stickiness and improve user adoption
· Strong consultative selling skills with an ability to tailor pitches to customer pain points
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
· Proficiency in CRM systems and sales enablement tools - Salesforce
· Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to identify trends and opportunities
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience selling B2B SaaS solutions in verticals like FinTech, HRTech, or MarTech
· Familiarity with Customer Success and Product-Led Growth (PLG) models
· Experience in working with product teams to shape offerings based on customer needs
· Rich Experience working with Customer in North America region
