      This is a chance to join the IBM Security team in a high-earning potential sales role selling into enterprise-level accounts through a unique and growing go-to-market. As part of the Security portfolio, IBM MaaS360 is a recognized leader in the Unified Endpoint Management space since 2012 and as the sudden shift to remote work in the past year has exacerbated security challenges the need for faster and more robust UEM adoption has increased. With mobile threat defense (MTD), artificial intelligence (AI) insights, out-of-the-box single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor and passwordless authentication, and conditional access, Mass360 provides the robust risk management posture organizations need without disrupting employee productivity.

      In this role, the candidate is responsible for driving MaaS360 sales in their territory through our national Telecom partners. The MaaS360 Telecom Sales Specialist will identify opportunities to be progressed with our Telecom Partners, co-selling with those partners to increase productivity. The candidate will also be responsible for building deep technical skills in Unified Endpoint Management, Threat Management, and Identity spaces. These skills will be used to support solution co-creation with partners and to provide use-case expertise for the MaaS360 offering.

      The ideal candidate will effectively present IBM’s value and technology to partners, C-level, IT decision-makers and have a proven ability to run and close full sales cycles. In addition, the candidate will advocate for partners with brand leadership and look for new opportunities to scale within their partner set.


      Additional responsibilities:
      Meets or exceed monthly and quarterly quota objectives
      • Maintains deep technical knowledge to articulate how MaaS360 enhances our partner’s solution and value to clients
      • Maintains broad understanding of other IBM Security offerings to identify cross-IBM Partnership opportunity
      • Builds trusted relationships within partner organization as an expert and advisor
      • Remains up to date on market and technology trends within assigned territory
      • Develops a deep understanding of relevant industry segments and how MaaS360 positions in the market
      • Remains current on competitors’ offerings and moves within the Unified Endpoint Management, Threat Management, and Identity spaces
      • Provides compelling product demos via online meetings emphasizing service features and benefits for both partners and customers
      • Populates and maintains a customer records database to support opportunity pipeline management.
      • Provides regular updates to management regarding opportunities, trends, and challenges.
      • Experience in direct or indirect B2B sales role in technology sales, software channel sales, or Telcom B2B sales
      • Knowledge of security technologies and trends
      • Proven track record of partner growth
      • Proven track-record of effective account penetration, account development, and account growth
      • Accurate forecasting skills and good command of marketplace
      • Depth and breadth of knowledge regarding the Security market in order to consult and advise, and quickly grow your reputation as your clients' credible, trusted advisor. (Training on IBM's security offerings is provided)
