      Responsibilities

      Milton CAT is looking to invest in and develop the right candidate to drive business of compact to large heavy within the New Hampshire territory. This field position involves being on the road every day, setting up meetings, prospecting job sites, executing "business conversations" on critical issues and closing business with valued customers and prospects.

      Qualifications

      To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.

      • Previous experience in field sales or a sales internship. • Ability to work on a team as well as independently. • Strong entrepreneurial drive and work ethic. • Proven success in prospecting and developing a territory. • Ability to manage accounts and or territory. • Ability to perform duties with a sense of urgency, exceeding customer expectations. • Excellent organizational skills. • Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment. • Ability to manage high volume workflow. • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy. • Excellent negotiation skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong problem solving skills. • Ability to understand and communicate basic financing with customers. • Proficient in the use of a computer and related software (Word, Excel, etc.), including utilizing customer relationship management system (CRM). • Ability to work flexible hours to meet customer needs. • Must have and maintain a clean driving record. • Travel throughout the Milton CAT territory and outside of the Milton CAT territory as needed.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Previous heavy duty construction sales experience

      Minimum Educational Requirements:Associates Degree in business administration, communications or related field required.
