      Req#: 12541

      About the role

Location: home office based in Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands or Austria

      Hours: Full-Time

      Type of Contract: Permanent

“Re-inventing essentials for sustainable living.” is a statement linked to our company strategy. At Borealis, we want to lead the transformation to a circular economy across all our products. We believe that this circular revolution is world-critical and urgent and addressing the issue of plastic waste and its impact on our planet has never been more important. We also believe that waste is just unused potential and value waiting to be reignited.

We want to bring you and your passion for selling mechanically recycled polyolefins on board to actively contribute to our growth path to this truly circular economy. This role is part of our Circular Economy Solutions (CES) business.

Reporting to the Head of Sales CES, these will be your tasks and responsibilities:

      • Responsible for developing, managing and maintaining a customer portfolio in Europe depending on development of projects
      • Close collaboration with our subsidiaries mtm plastics in Germany and Ecoplast in Austria as well as customer service, technical service, marketing etc.
      • Provide input for sales forecasting and planning including action tracking
      • Acquisition and development of new customers
      • Sales execution and leading negotiations, managing prices and commercial conditions
      • Managing stakeholder relations along the value chain

      About you

Most importantly: we are looking for you, if you have the passion to build the future of our Circular Economy Solutions together with us. You enjoy a dynamic and fast growing environment in which future possibilities seem to be endless and are just waiting to be discovered and developed. You see an obstacle along the way as a chance to learn and grow together with your customer and Borealis colleagues at the same time – even if this obstacle will sometimes also test your resilience.

Your past experience should come from polyolefins sales and / or along the value chain of polymer recycling.

As a Sales person you enjoy being out in the market and you therefore welcome business travel. Since you will be part of a team in a fast and agile environment with low hierarchy, you need to have strong business acumen and strong commercial/financial and strategic understanding. You are known as a sound decision maker – who isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo - with an entrepreneurial spirit and a collaborative and visionary, yet pragmatic mindset.

You should also bring the passion, willingness and flexibility to contribute to our growth agenda and growth projects outside the pure sales role when needed.
