What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive new business sales and manage the sales process for group insurance products, including Life, Accident, Disability, and Absence Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and consultants to generate new business opportunities
- Meet or exceed annual business plans by achieving new business premium and case count goals
- Collaborate with internal service partners to enhance upsell strategies and client retention
- Present proposals and product information to clients and brokers, ensuring a high-quality sales experience
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High energy and self-motivation with a strong sense of urgency
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation abilities
- Experience in managing complex issues and navigating relationships within a matrix organization
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve sales goals
- In-depth knowledge of insurance coverages and products, with a commitment to staying updated on industry changes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in sales within the insurance or employee benefits industry
- Established relationships with brokers and consultants in the local market
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving performance metrics
