      BAT FIJI IS LOOKING FOR A SALES REPRESENTATIVE

      SENIORITY LEVEL : Non-Management Level

      ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

      BAT is seeking to recruit a self-driven and agile individual for the Sales representative role within our Suva Marketing team. The ideal candidate is to demonstrate sound customer relations and communications skills and can deliver critical processes within the group. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, and teamwork, communication, and collaboration is key.

      Reports to: Sales Manager

      KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDES:

      • Maximize sales to deliver on company volume, share of market and profit targets.
      • To increase route effectiveness and efficiency, achieve area coverage, call frequency, and outlet visit plan to retailers.
      • Identify opportunities on an ongoing basis to improve routing efficiencies and effectiveness.
      • Negotiate between customers when carrying out sales, communicate key branding messaging to retailers, and build a customer portfolio.
      • Ensure stock is managed well and to the standard required, aligned to pricing strategy and visibility, and meets all plan program requirements.
      • Ensure timeliness and accuracy of reporting daily for sales carried out.
      • Review product quality and freshness in store and report to Sales Manager any issues identified.
      • Take accountability for Stock, Cash and Credit Management as per company policy.

      QUALIFICATIONS AND ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES:

      • Experience of 2 - 3 years in sales and marketing in an FMCG firm.
      • Possess knowledge of pricing and ways pricing strategies work.
      • Valid Class 2 Fiji Drivers license (Manual)
      • Equipped with effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
      • A high degree of organizational skill, attention to detail, strong presentation skills and proficiency in English in written and verbal skills.
      • Diploma/Degree in Sales and Marketing or related field.
      • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Skills and Computer literacy
