      Description

      The Sales Solutions Architect role supports the growth of the business by providing technical guidance and support of the entire sales cycle. As a trusted advisor that supports Paycom’s sales global strategy, they deliver technical design and evaluation through product knowledge, technical setup guidance and client facing that provides solutions and services. They are responsible for being a technical expert that will formulate and execute configurations with strategic guidance on sales components to align with sales and to successfully drive implementation for clients through integration.

      RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Facilitate onsite and virtual meetings with prospects and existing clients with real-time strategy
      • Maintain client-focused design as the framework for advising solutions to client’s product needs
      • Build client relationships that incorporate consultative skills with all stakeholders
      • Collaborate with internal business units to drive quality and client satisfaction with project timeline, business alignment to meet short- and long-term goals and budget
      • Drive innovation to create value-add for clients through meeting strategic objectives and implementing best practices and knowledge of internal or external business products/services
      • Identify and provide ad hoc support throughout the pre-sales process
      • Effectively provides product feedback, process enhancement, tools and resources to drive continuous improvement for prospects/clients and advanced solutions
      • Serves as the subject matter expert with comprehensive knowledge in educating clients with a gap analysis and technical solutions
      • Supports new products, product development and implementation strategy
      • Ability to assist with technical specification and design of product changes, tools and client processes
      • Partners with sales leadership and Regional Learning Executives (RLEs), where applicable, on going training and development initiatives, while leveraging the utility of all sales enablement tools
      • Gathers and provides data in support of product development request for client needs

      Qualifications


      Education/Certification:

      • Bachelor’s Degree

      Experience:

      • 6+ years of relevant work experience with advanced technical system knowledge, or in similar roles in the software industry
      • Previous experience in product training

      PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

      Education/Certification:

      • Advanced business degree, such as an MBA, is preferred
      • PMP Certification
      • Certifications in Sales, Marketing and/or Leadership are preferred

      Experience:

      • 6+ years of relevant work experience or 4+ years of experience within the Paycom solution, with advanced technical system knowledge, or in similar roles in the software industry
      • Previous experience in product training and/or advanced Paycom product knowledge
      • Direct client-facing experience preferred

      Skills/Abilities:

      • Demonstrates proficiency with computers, specifically in-depth knowledge of Paycom software and web conferencing.
      • Ability to create and deliver standardized, executive-level presentation skills of all system processes
      • Ability to communicate technological solutions and product knowledge not only to technical but to business users
      • Strong project management skills
      • Outstanding coaching skills
      • Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to accomplish goals
      • Excellent communication skills (written, face-to-face, web-based, formal presentations)
      • Ability to maintain confidentiality, remain open to others’ ideas and exhibit a willingness to try new things
