What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide support to Cruise Consultants, fulfilling their responsibilities in their absence
- Process quote requests and input transaction details into the reservation system
- Generate scheduled reports including final billing and payment reminders
- Book cruise reservations and recommend ancillary items such as insurance and hotels
- Address client issues and involve management as necessary to ensure satisfaction
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of travel industry experience, specifically in the cruise market
- Proficiency in Cruise Line booking tools and exceptional customer service skills
- Competency with Excel, Word, and Zoom, with the ability to learn new technologies
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure with attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a Cruise Line or Travel Agency setting
- Completion of travel school or a related college degree
- Friendly disposition with a proactive approach to customer service
