- Provide sales support for a dedicated educational sales team working with marketing, accounting, customer service, product development and sales leadership among other cross-silo departments.
- Coordinate event-based selling campaigns, onsite events, and conference registrations.
- Manage and follow-up on all needs for the sales team including- event marketing builds, conference information, awareness sessions
- Ensure that materials are ordered and arrive on time to all events and conferences.
- Participating in meetings/discussions.
- Identification and completion of all bids and RFPs within assigned territory, including tracking through submission, award and maintenance of agreements and contracts.
- Assist in the research, price and analysis of previous quotes and bids in order to provide competitive pricing to customers including quotes, competitive pricing, bids, and RFPs.
- Locate new line bid opportunities in assigned territory to increase sales and log bid tabulations.
- Other duties for this role will be assigned as necessary/appropriate.
- Associates Degree preferred, but not required.
- At least 2 years of experience in a sales support role.
- Experience responding to RFPs, Bids, and Quotes, with experience in reading and reviewing contracts within established guidelines preferred.
- Experience in Purchasing, Customer Service and Sales is a plus.
- Must have experience in logical pricing strategies to increase sales and increase gross margin.
- Must be able to work independently in a professional manner and be flexible when new projects cause priorities to change.
- Should take direction well and be able to execute and complete projects on deadline, accurately.
- Must be able to communicate with customers and employees over the phone and in e-mail in a professional manner so information is clearly understood.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline sensitive environment.
- Capable of providing solutions to problems in an analytical and thoughtful manner.
- Ability to communicate ideas and work collaboratively with others.

Position Description:
The Sales Support Associate provides administrative and operational support working closely and collaboratively with all Educational Sales Consultants in a dedicated region, the Director of Sales in that region, and all sales support staff, marketing staff and cross functionally with other departments within the organization. The main priority of this role is to communicate with all the regional sales consultants in a defined region to help them with marketing needs, lead the RFP processes, provide proposals and quotes, registration for sales events and awareness sessions among other regional duties that align with the sales business plan.
