Grit and Resilience: Upgrades Sales Reps must possess the determination and resilience to overcome challenges, handle rejection, and persevere in the face of obstacles, ultimately driving their success in upgrading customer accounts.
Consistent Sales Performance: A successful Upgrades Sales Rep is expected to consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, demonstrating a track record of delivering results and contributing to Vivint’s revenue growth.
Effective Communication : Upgrades Sales Reps must be able to explain complex product offerings in a simple and persuasive manner, ensuring that customers fully understand the value of upgrades and how they address their unique needs.
Continuous Learning : Upgrades Sales Reps are expected to stay current with our evolving product and service offerings, industry trends, and sales techniques. Continuous learning and adaptation to changing market conditions are essential for achieving and maintaining success in this role.
Must be at least 18 years old
Must obtain a Burglar Alarm License (paid for by Vivint)
Proven experience in sales or a customer-facing role, preferably in a customer upgrades or sales specialist capacity .
Able to work Full-time
Proficient with basic computer functions and ability to utilize software, databases, scripts, and other tools appropriately
Cannot be located in CA, CO, CT, DC, KY, ME, NJ, NY, or WA.
Work-from-home employees cannot be the primary caregivers for children, other people, or pets while on shift.
Have a quiet and private location from which to work
Must be able to provide your own equipment. This entails:
A computer (laptop or desktop) that runs Windows 10 (Please note our remote-based software does NOT work with Apple/Mac products, tablets, or Chromebooks.)
Computer must have at least 8 GB RAM.
Computer must have a webcam.
A USB wired headset equipped with a microphone.
Must have reliable internet: 10 MBPS download and 10 MBPS upload speeds
Must have a wired internet connection

Our Upgrades team is obsessed with our proven sales process to ensure protection and peace of mind to all customers by providing them with the entire Vivint offering of Smart Savings. Our happiest customers are the ones who have the latest and greatest, so we want to upgrade all our eligible customers to help them have the best experience.
Training: Paid, Mandatory 3 -week training Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm MT
Schedul e: 8:00am – 5:00pm MT Monday – Friday (NO WEEKENDS)
Pay : $13.00/ hr. + Uncapped Commissions
A Day in the Life:
Our sales representatives make outbound phone calls to our existing customers to offer upgrades and exclusive offers to their systems . Successful Sales Representatives determine customer needs and provide a white-glove experience from sale to installation while balancing the customer experience and correcting potential customer concerns .

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position is $13/hr. In addition to base pay, this position has commission opportunities which typically range from $50,000 to $70,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
