      Sales/Accounts Representative (AONN+)

      Position Overview: As an individual sales contributor, you will join a collaborative team of professionals working together to support our AONN+ Association partner in driving new business opportunities, including but not limited to, AONN conference sponsorships including exhibit booths, product theaters; along with, corporate yearly sponsorship opportunities. The ideal candidate will have the ability to leverage industry relationships to work in a collaborative environment to drive revenue while promoting the network. As part of your role, you will identify, and secure new business opportunities that align with priority goals to solicit and secure pharmaceutical and healthcare sponsorships for the organization and its yearly meetings. Your impact will be not only be visible and measurable but inspirational in supporting Oncology Nurse Navigators and the patients they serve. This is a highly visible position, those with entry level sales/ non-profit sales experience are encouraged to apply.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Secure qualified client meetings through cold calling, warm leads, emails, social media, and networks.
      • Collaborate with business leaders, members of the various teams and company subject matter experts.
      • Deliver sales messages aligned to AONN+ offerings.
      • Frequent client engagement and organizational scheduling is required.
      • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the sales process, especially in the context of identifying market needs, pitching solutions, and driving growth.
      • Provide timely status reports to the AONN+ Executive Director, and occasionally the board of directors.
      • Attend key conferences and travel as needed
      • Other duties and responsibilities as needed.
      • account based sales calling on pharma manufacturers

      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or 3-4 years relevant sales/account management experience
      • Minimum 1 year of experience in a sales account management role—required
      • Minimum 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry—preferred
      • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales within a non-profit organization, effectively engaging donors, managing relationships, and driving support for organizational goals—strongly preferred
      • Demonstrable success in client account management with meeting or exceeding quota.
      • Ability to travel overnight (occasionally)
      • Non-profit experience preferred
