What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage patient inquiries and provide timely responses to ensure high levels of satisfaction
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to facilitate patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care programs
- Identify and resolve any issues or concerns related to patient services
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare-related customer service role
- High School Diploma or GED required; further education in healthcare preferred
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and patient privacy laws
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a clinical setting or with electronic health records
- Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish
- Certification in healthcare administration or customer service
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Previous experience in patient advocacy or support roles
