Salesforce Developer
Glasgow
As a Barclays Salesforce Developer, you will join the CRM Wealth practice based in Glasgow, working virtually with other members in London and Pune too. You will be responsible for developing, enhancing and supporting the Wealth & Investments and Private Bank Salesforce platform.

What you’ll be doing?
• Working closely with Business Analysts and lead on the team to align possible solutions with business requirements
• Taking full ownership of the new features under development and take responsibility for timely, high quality delivery
• Participating in Level 3 production support. Carry out root cause analysis of issues and demonstrate creative tenacity to find solutions working with the support group
• Deploying and test developed components on lower environments and prepare packages for PROD releases
• Adhering to enterprise scale DevOps processes
• Gaining and maintaining knowledge of the Salesforce platform functionality and related technologies to continue to contribute to design and functional aspects of projects
• Working closely with other team members in a globally-distributed team
• Delivering agreed functionality in each sprint following an Agile methodologyWhat we’re looking for:
• Minimum two years of experience in programming in JAVA/.NET language
• Good knowledge of Angular/react framework, HTML and front end programming principles
• Extensive knowledge of Systems Development Lifecycle
• Experience with CI and build tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus – but is not required
• SCRUM and Kanban agile methodologies experience, incl. tooling – Jira or AgileCentral
• Knowledge of SCM tools like GIT, TFS etc.
• Quick learner; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
