Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of the Salesforce Sales Cloud platform, including custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, workflows, process builders, and flows.
• Develop and maintain custom applications and integrations on the salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other technologies.
• Follow best practices and coding standards to ensure high performance, security, and scalability of the solutions.
• Perform unit testing, code reviews, and debugging to ensure the functionality and quality of the code.
• Support the deployment and release management processes using tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Salesforce DX.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the existing applications and integrations.
• Stay updated with Salesforce releases, new features, and best practices, and evaluate and recommend improvements and innovations for the Sales Cloud platform.
• Communicate effectively with the clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations.
• Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices for data quality, accuracy, and consistency.

Essential Functions

(What you’ll need to join Insight:)

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 6 years of experience as a salesforce developer.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, data driven decision making and attention to detail are required.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and project management tools such as Jira
• Experience in developing custom applications and integrations on the salesforce platform using various tools and frameworks such as Salesforce DX, Lightning Design System, and SLDS.
• Experience in using Git, Jenkins, and other tools for version control and continuous integration.
• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce architecture, data model, security, and platform capabilities
• Certification in Platform Developer I and II, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
