What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators to validate business requirements and considerations (security, scalability, limits)
- Develop Apex classes and triggers, Visualforce, and custom user interfaces to meet business requirements
- Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems within the organization
- Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write/maintain test classes for all custom development
- Provide support and mentorship for junior Salesforce Administrators/Developers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least 5 years of Salesforce development experience, with knowledge of Salesforce Health Cloud and/or Service Cloud
- Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I
- Proficient with Microsoft SQL Server, Salesforce Lightning Design System, and the Salesforce development lifecycle
- Experience implementing and developing in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Java
- Bachelor’s/Postgraduate degree in Computer Sciences, professional qualification, or relevant experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Additional Salesforce certifications such as Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform Developer II, or JavaScript Developer I
- Experience working with large data sets and bulkification
- Strong soft skills with the ability to gather requirements and present solutions to stakeholders
