Job Description

- Adheres to all safety and sanitation guidelines, policies, and procedures at all times.
- Requests and follows job assignments from Team Lead.
- Drives forklift to move items in warehouse as directed.
- Efficiently loads and unloads trailers using pallet jack.
- Performs preparation check list.
- Performs equipment pre-operation check.
- Assures that all items in trailer are properly stacked, wrapped, or secured before removing salvage.
- Follows proper trailer reloading procedures.
- Sweeps out trailers and removes debris.
- Stacks and rewraps salvage materials for reloading.
- Cleans warehouse and other designated areas.
- Perform any additional tasks as directed by Team Lead.
- Good attendance and adherence to work schedule is required.
- Clocks in and out of shift correctly.
- Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), Preferred Work Methods (PWM’s) and Company Policies and Safety Procedures.
- Ability to work scheduled hours on regular basis.
- Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, including by radio, in a courteous and professional manner.
- Knowledge of and skill in driving a pallet jack.
- Ability to drive a forklift or the ability to learn to drive a forklift.
- Ability to follow specific and detailed verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to meet the criminal background requirements of Rock Harbor Logistics.
- Prior warehouse experience strongly preferred.
- Electric pallet jack experience preferred.
- Experience operating a forklift preferred.
- Ability to lift and stack 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Standing, sitting, bending, stooping, reaching, pulling, pushing, squatting and walking.
- Use radio for communication with coworkers.
- Work may be performed in very cold or warm environment for extended periods of time.
- Work may be performed in an environment with moderate to high noise levels.

JOB SUMMARY:
Primarily responsible for unloading trailers returning from stores and fulfilling warehouse assignments with offloaded materials using a forklift and pallet jack.
