Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer
Experience: 5-8 years
Location: Mumbai
Job Summary: The SAP ABAP Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ABAP programs and applications within the SAP ecosystem. This role involves collaborating with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. The developer will also troubleshoot and optimize existing ABAP code to enhance system performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement custom ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Enhance and optimize existing ABAP code for performance improvements.
- Develop and maintain SAP forms using SmartForms, Adobe Forms, or SAPscript.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ABAP-related issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP programming concepts, data dictionary, and OOP.
- Experience with SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI) is a plus.
- Familiarity with debugging and performance tuning techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.About the company
