Mission:

The aim of this position is to design, build, and optimize systems for data collection, storage, access, and analytics at scale based on the company's specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Understand data requirements and design data solutions that align with business goals.
• Architect and implement scalable, efficient, and robust data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouses to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Ensure data quality, data governance, and data security best practices are adhered to throughout the data lifecycle.
• Manage and optimize data storage solutions, including data lakes, databases, and cloud-based storage platforms.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture, data flows, and data processes
• Mentor junior data engineers and team members

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience as a Data Engineer or Data Architect (3 years)
• Experience in Python, Java or similar scripting language
• Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL), data lakes, and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of data governance, data security, and compliance standards.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Data Analytics, AWS Certified Data Analytics, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer) and knowledge of IoT, Opensource solutions like Kafka, Debezium, MQTT are a plus.
• English and Spanish: high level
• Person with communication skills, teamwork and proactivity.
