- Effectively leads a small project or acts as lead on a segment of a larger project:
- Follows standard project methodology.
- Develops and manages the plan for their segment of the project.
- Coordinates the work for and motivates other resources to meet project objectives.
- Performs configuration or builds the necessary BW/SAC objects and develops program specifications required to meet the project objectives.
- Identifies potential issues, which may impede delivering on business requirements, bringing those issues to the attention of the functional team leader or project sponsor, and driving to resolution to obtain business results.
- Works with IT and end users to map new business processes on the SAP (and other related) system and works with end user community on potential enhancements.
- Independently identifies business process improvement opportunities and builds business case to encourage the business to implement these solutions.
- Ensures business requests are consistent with the IT governance strategy and the IT business support model.
- Ensures results obtained satisfy client requirements and that the new business processes operate effectively and efficiently in the integrated system environment. Obtains all necessary approvals from client and GPOs.
- Effectively communicates significant changes to colleagues and the end user community in a timely manner.
- Responsible for documenting business procedures relating to new functionality, up-to-date configuration, end user training materials.
- Responsible for transitioning support of any newly developed application to the designated Support Specialist(s), which includes providing appropriate documentation and providing ad-hoc assistance when required.
- Responsible for monitoring data loads into the BW system and taking the appropriate corrective action if problems are encountered.
- Formal Education
- BS. Degree, preferably in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics), Management or Business Administration and/or equivalent years of business experience.
- Specific Knowledge Requirements
- Strong knowledge of SAP BW4HANA
- Knowledge of SAC
- Knowledge of ABAP
- Functional knowledge of S4
- Good knowledge of business software i.e., Word Processing, Excel, SharePoint, Microsoft Exchange, or equivalents.
- Familiarity with S4 business functions, e.g., MM, STP, SD, Finance etc. desired
- Experience
- Five or more years of SAP-BW4HANA design and implementation experience.
- Prior experience with S4, AFO, Fiori and SAC desired
- Other Skills

Position Summary
FMC Corporation is seeking a motivated team member to enhance and support Reporting & Analytics applications (primarily, but not limited, to SAP-BW). The scope of this position requires a good understanding of key business processes and SAP-BW4HANA functionality. In addition, this position requires an understanding of other technology solutions that can be utilized in the Reporting & Analytics environment (e.g., SAC, Fiori, AFO)
The BW Developer will employ business and IT skills to design, build, develop, and deliver world-class solutions in a partnership approach with FMC business leadership. He/she must be able to work independently and transmit a strong sense of confidence in helping the business achieve their vision of a successful business transformation.
The BW Developer is responsible for working in conjunction with business leadership to understand and document requirements, define functional and technical solutions, evaluate available solutions and make recommendations as to the optimal solution; define acceptance criteria and test strategies, develop required BW or SAC objects and configuration, direct programming resources in the delivery of technical solutions, assist in testing responsibilities, work with business constituents on user acceptance testing and sign-off, define and manage the development of training material, manage assigned project management responsibilities, and report on status and progress on a regular basis.
Candidate will also be responsible for the control and monitoring of data loads from SAP and non-SAP sources along with other R&A team members. This includes creating, maintaining, and scheduling Process Chains. Communicating load status and manually correcting failed loads or loading data on request will also be part of the responsibility of the candidate.
