  Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO Functional Architect who will be catering to the North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

  Role Summary:

  We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Architect specializing in SAP FI Product Costing and SAP FICO Profitability Analysis.

  Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of SAP FICO Product Costing and Profitability Analysis solutions.
  • Supervise the integration of SAP FICO modules with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
  • Provide expert guidance on SAP FICO standard methodologies to optimize financial processes.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP FICO configurations and processes.
  • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure seamless deployment of SAP solutions.
  • Fix complex issues related to SAP FICO modules.
  • Mentor and train junior team members on SAP FICO functionalities and standard processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in all SAP FICO implementations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and user experience.
  • Engage with customers to provide regular updates on project progress and work.
  • Apply domain expertise in Research and Development Manufacturing and Supply Chain to tailor SAP solutions to specific business needs.
  • Support the transition to hybrid work model by ensuring remote and on-site teams are effectively coordinated.
  • Committed to delivering high-quality solutions that meet client needs.
  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.

  Role Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of SAP FICO experience.
  • Extensive experience in SAP FICO PC and COPA.
  • Experience leading SAP FICO implementations and integrations.
  • Proficient in crafting and maintaining detailed documentation.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills to gather and interpret business requirements.

  This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
