  Job Description:
  Candidate to be experienced in SAP Project Systems (PS) support consultant to work on BAU support on Capita’s SAP ECC6.0 system.
  The role will include:
  • Resolution of 2nd line support queries raised in Remedy by internal customers to support SAP Project Systems.
  • Assist in requirements gathering meetings to understand change request, write simple change requests/functional specs, liaise with technical team if technical change is required, amend/set up PS configuration to deliver the requirement, data conversion, perform unit, integration and/or regression testing.
  • Working collaboratively with other functional teams to resolve issues or implement solutions, especially in the areas of Finance, Materials Management, Sales and Distribution, Human Resources, BW team ,PI team and Authorisations.
  • Support Go Live activities and transition new processes to (1) Service Desk if applicable or (2) SAP PS team members.
  • Running of reports/data analysis.
  • Month end/ year end support.
  • Assisting with the implementation and/or support for TSA’s and BTA’s.
  Understanding of:
  • Organisational Structures in SAP
  • SAP PS/CATS configuration
  • Master data; Work Breakdown structures, Networks and activities
  • Planning and forecasting against Projects (cost element planning)
  • Profit centre and cost centre accounting
  • Timesheets (CATS) and secondary allocations
  • PS Integration with other SAP modules; MM, SD, FI, CO, and Expenses (Concur)
  • HR master data (Timesheet Mini master)
  • Period end closing (Settlement, Results Analysis)
  • LSMW (desirable)
  • Project information system/BW reporting
