- Lead the design and development of complex SAP Fiori and UI5 applications, ensuring scalable, high-performance, and user-friendly solutions.
- Translate business requirements into innovative UI designs by collaborating with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders.
- Develop and enhance SAP applications using ABAP, OData, and SAP Gateway services.
- Build responsive and accessible UIs using SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 across desktop and mobile platforms.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to coding standards
- Drive best practices around Fiori design principles and ensure alignment with SAP UX strategy.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers, ensuring knowledge sharing and upskilling across the team.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for integration, deployment, and release activities in Agile environments.
- Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and optimize UI and backend logic accordingly.
- Support end-users, troubleshoot complex issues, and continuously improve application usability.
We are seeking a Senior or Lead SAP UI5 Fiori Developer with ABAP expertise to take a key role in designing, developing, and driving the implementation of modern SAP user interfaces with a deep understanding of SAP UI/UX best practices. is responsible for managing all aspects of the product development and support. Qualifications
Experience
Required 5 years
SAP UI5 / Fiori application development
Preferred
SAP Fiori/UI5 certification (preferred but not mandatory)
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Experience with CDS views, UI annotations, and Fiori Elements (preferred)
Understanding of Fiori Launchpad configuration and role-based authorization
Experience in extending/enhancing standard Fiori apps
Proficient in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and RESTful APIs
Deep knowledge of SAP Gateway and OData service development/customization
Strong expertise in ABAP and ABAP on HANA concepts
