- Minimum of 2 years of experience in SBA loan processing or a related role in commercial lending.
- Familiarity with SBA 7(a) and 504 loan programs is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of SBA lending guidelines and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple loan files simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and loan processing software.
- Working knowledge of Abrigo Software (Sageworks) would be ideal
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

We are currently looking for a SBA Loan Processor to work Monday - Friday at our Branch located at 1000 W 800 North, Orem, UT. This SBA Loan Processor is responsible for managing the processing of SBA loans from initial application through closing. This role involves working closely with loan officers, underwriters, and borrowers to ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with SBA guidelines. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of SBA loan programs.

Regular Duties and Responsibilities:
Loan Processing:
Review and process SBA loan applications, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
Collaborate with loan officers and underwriters to resolve any issues or discrepancies in loan files.
Prepare and organize loan files for submission to underwriting and closing.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure all loans comply with SBA guidelines and internal policies.
Verify borrower eligibility and confirm that all required documents are included in the loan package.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the loan processing system.
Communication & Coordination:
Serve as a main point of contact for borrowers throughout the loan process.
Communicate with thrid-pary vendors, such as appraisers and title companies, to facilitate the loan process.
Provide timely updates to borrowers, loan officers, and other stakeholders on the status of the loan applications.
Problem-Solving:
Identify and address potential issues or delays in the loan process.
Work proactively with internal and external parties to resolve problems and ensure timely loan closings.
