Job Description

- Prepare documents for scanning (removing staples, organizing pages, ensuring proper order).
- Operate scanning equipment and software to digitize paper documents.
- Check scanned images for clarity and accuracy.
- File and organize scanned documents in electronic systems or databases.
- Label and categorize scanned files according to company procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive or private information.
- Ensure scanning equipment is clean and functioning; report technical issues as needed.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure completeness and correctness of scanned records.
- Assist with other administrative or clerical tasks as assigned.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Familiarity with scanners and imaging software preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to handle repetitive tasks and sit or stand for extended periods.
- Strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scanner to assist with the digitization and organization of physical documents. The Scanner is responsible for preparing, scanning, and electronically filing documents accurately and efficiently to support the office’s record-keeping and operational workflows.
