Short Description: SCC Technical Support 2
Complete Description:
*local candidates strongly preferred
*interviews will be conducted via phone/Skype/Google Hangout.
*candidates will telework now (after coming to office to pick up laptop). Once restrictions are lifted, candidates will be required to work onsite daily M-F 8-5pm, NO exceptions
Hardware/software support for the Commission's microcomputer systems & peripherals.
Provide Tier I (first-line information gathering), Tier 2 (advanced technical troubleshooting) and hardware and software support for the Commission's microcomputer systems and peripherals. Supported software includes all Microsoft Office desktop products, Internet Explorer; supported hardware includes Dell computers, HP peripherals, and desktop telecommunications components. Imaging and deployment of new computers and peripherals.
The Information Technology Division seeks a candidate to join the Technical Support department in conducting an annual hardware refresh. Providing assistance in the imaging and deployment of new computers and peripherals for the SCC.
Responsibilities include installation, configuration and troubleshooting of microcomputer products, work with maintenance vendors to correct hardware issues, develop and maintain written procedures, conduct advanced technical research of new products, test hardware and software products, and training of end users.
