What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle a high volume of inbound calls, averaging 70-90 calls per day, to schedule appointments and address inquiries
- Perform patient registration and ensure accurate documentation of demographic, medical, and referral information
- Provide basic information and instructions to patients regarding healthcare services
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines in all communications
- Support ongoing communication and service recovery with patients and referring providers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred, or 0-1 year of call center experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle sensitive information
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and team skills
- Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel

- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a high call volume
- Knowledge of referral triage processes and insurance stipulations affecting appointment scheduling
- Detail-oriented with effective data entry skills
