What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Properly schedule all procedures and answer incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Place calls to referring physicians for patients expressing difficulty with scheduling
- Enter accurate information in RIS for appointment scheduling, rescheduling, cancellation, and comment entry
- Pre-register, scan documents, and input clinical data as needed for appointments
- Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma and/or at least 1 year of medical/radiology office work experience (or medical training program/education)
- Ability to multi-task with attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to foster teamwork and inter-personal awareness
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Must reside in the Houston area
