What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle inbound and outbound confirmation calls for scheduling surgical procedures
- Respond to customer voicemails and emails related to scheduling
- Schedule cases across multiple modalities, ensuring accuracy and timely confirmations
- Identify and resolve scheduling barriers to improve outcomes
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Proven work experience as a Scheduling Coordinator or in Customer Service
- Proficiency in Scheduling Software is preferred
- Experience using Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Knowledge of clinical/medical practice operations, procedures, and terminology is preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a call center or with ACD phone systems
- Familiarity with healthcare-related scheduling practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
- Separate work area free of distractions for remote positions
