What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer incoming calls from healthcare providers and patients promptly, ensuring professionalism and phone etiquette
- Manage patient registrations with attention to detail, ensuring accurate information is recorded
- Schedule appointments efficiently and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure smooth operations and positive patient experience
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of work, including patient and personnel information
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school graduate or GED
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a call center or medical setting involved with inbound calls, scheduling, and patient flow
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Windows-based applications
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Two years of college preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience in a healthcare-related service environment
- Ability to learn new methods and procedures quickly
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform basic math calculations
