      Job Overview

      • Maintains patient confidentiality and follows HIPAA regulations.
      • Schedules procedures and appointments
      • Updates and manages scheduling files and patient data.
      • Coordinates patient placements and reschedules as needed.
      • Proficient in cadence scheduling and multi-tasking.
      • Handles inquiries, updates accounts, and ensures billing accuracy.
      • Creates guarantors and verifies insurance coverage.
      • Completes coverage training and verifies insurance eligibility

      Required Certification/License/Experience:

      • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
      • One or two years’ clerical/secretarial experience

      Preferred Certification/License/Experience:

      • One to three years of experience in a physician office, hospital registration, or hospital billing preferred.
