What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer phones and manage faxes in a professional and timely manner
- Schedule patient examinations according to company policy
- Obtain and record accurate personal, financial, and insurance information
- Maintain an up-to-date and accurate database on referring physicians
- Verify insurance for same-day add-ons
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in using computer systems and typing
- Ability to handle a multi-level phone system with a high volume of calls
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of medical terminology and previous clinical business office experience
- Bilingual proficiency
