What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer phones and handle calls in a professional and timely manner
- Schedule patient examinations according to company policy and maintain positive interactions with patients and referring offices
- Ensure accurate entry of personal, financial, and insurance information into systems
- Pre-certify exams with patients' insurance companies and verify insurance for same-day add-ons
- Provide backup coverage for front office staff as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient with using computer systems and typing skills
- Ability to handle a multi-level phone system with a high volume of calls
- Strong communication skills and professionalism
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- Familiarity with medical terminology and previous clinical business office experience
- Bilingual abilities
