Job Description

- 9:00am - 3:30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
- 9:00am - 3:00pm Wednesday
- Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
- Responds to internal and external customers in a timely, accurate, courteous and empathetic manner representing OCPS in a positive light.
- Answers the telephone; provides information and assistance; takes/relays messages to appropriate personnel.
- Answer visitors’ questions, calls, and emails, and provide them with the relevant information.
- Follow school district safety and security procedures, such as screening visitor entrance and issuing visitor badges.
- Maintain confidentiality of student FERPA information as needed.
- Operates a variety of machinery, equipment, and tools associated with department activities, which may include a laminator, copy machine, or poster maker.
- Responsible for keeping up to date on current technology, as job appropriate, being used by OCPS. With the support of the district, attends training to ensure skill level in various technologies is at the level required to perform in current position. Responsible for timely and accurate information they maintain as part of their job responsibilities.
